Wimbledon is on. Besides all the favorites going into the third round, this is the most unbelievable thing and has to be stopped… as someone from BBC News comments:
By the way, if you think the football is tense – spare a thought for John Isner and Nicolas Mahut at Wimbledon. The pair have been going at it for more than nine(!) hours and it is 53-53 in the fifth and final set. Seriously. Surely it’s time for rock-paper-scissors and be done with it?

They went back to the court and finished it. Barely playing, but doing their best. Isner won… actually both won. But I keep on thinking that this is too much, nothing to do with the heroic part, with the glory of the sport. Is the fact that you are allowing those guys to try to reach beyond themselves… I think is too much, I think they have to set limits. Now.
